AfterGen is built and operated with an EU-first mindset.
If you care about European privacy expectations and transparency, you generally want:
- Clear data minimization (only store what’s necessary to operate the service)
- No retention of sensitive user content (images)
- Straightforward policies you can actually verify
Your images are processed on our own servers in the EU. AfterGen runs the image editing pipeline on EU-hosted infrastructure we operate. Your upload is transferred to our EU servers, processed to produce the output you requested, and then discarded as part of normal operation.
In practice, this means
- Uploaded images and generated outputs are not stored.
- There is no tracking/advertising analytics on the website.
- Only essential account/billing data is kept when you choose to sign in and purchase credits.
