AfterGen is built around a simple idea: powerful AI image editing should be easy to access, fair to use, and transparent.
Credits today
AfterGen runs on real GPU infrastructure, which costs money per edit. To keep pricing predictable (and to avoid subscriptions or hidden fees), we use credits:
- Buy credits when you need them.
- Each edit consumes a known amount of credits.
- Your credit balance is always visible, so you stay in control.
Our long-term goal: free for everyone
We want AfterGen to become accessible to everyone, even without paying. The way to get there is reach:
- With more users and more visibility, we can sustainably integrate advertising.
- Advertising revenue can help cover the cost of GPU inference and operations.
- That opens the door to a future where you can edit images without paying — by using ads instead of credits.
What that could look like over time
